La peau de l’ours is a contemporary art gallery, located in upper side of Brussels and founded in 2017 by Thomas Ghaye. The gallery represents emerging artists, mainly from the French scene. With a dynamic program, La peau de l’ours has regularly acted as a springboard for artists whose work is now known in the contemporary art world. After a little more than 7 years, gallery owner and collector Elie Schonfeld decided to join the adventure with the objective of keeping on developing La peau de l’ours by reinforcing its presence and its artists on the international scene.
