Highlighted is a sculptural lamp co-created by lighting pioneer Maurer and designer Arad in 1984, blending poetry with technology. Also featured is Jasper Morrison's Plywood Chair, born from resourcefulness and crafted with minimal tools, showcasing unique shapes and construction. Completing the selection is Philippe Starck's Wendy Wright chair, a post-modern marvel showcasing his playful design approach.
Founded by Philippe Vermeersch in 2023, Etre Moderne is a vintage design gallery with a focus on distinctive pieces from the 80s, 90s, and 00s. Drawing from Philippe's background as a product designer, the gallery curates captivating assortments of design pieces, emphasizing bold graphical elements. Etre Moderne's mission is to revive and preserve these treasures for future generations to enjoy.
