Anahita Contemporary x JESCHKELANGER Studio
Anahita Contemporary presents a unique juxtaposition of disciplines, genres and eras. The curation of the artists and exhibits creates an interdisciplinary, intercultural and trans-temporal body of artwork. The exhibition includes recent stainless steel works by Chilene artist Amalia Valdés, acrylic glass sculptures by German artist Dieter Detzner and an ancient Iranian nomadic textile and ceramic from the 19th century. Also on display is a special edition from the German sofa brand freistil - Rolf Benz, which uses a traditional Persian Ghalamkar fabric as its cover, decorated with the iconic Paisley motif, which has its origins in Islamic art.
